First Day
Genesis 1:1-5
In the beginning God created both the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was void and nothing, darkness on the face of the abyss. The Spirit of God brooding on the water’s face, 3 God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light was beautiful. God set apart the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. Then there was both evening and morning—Sunday.

Second Day
Genesis 1:6-8
6 And God said, “Let there be a firmament amid the waters. Let it set apart the waters from the waters.” 7 Then God made the firmament and set apart the waters underneath the firmament from the waters on top of the firmament. And it was so. 8 God called the firmament the Sky. Then there was both evening and morning—Monday.

Third Day
Genesis 1:9-13
9 God said, “The waters underneath the sky will be gathered to one place, and dry land will appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry land the Earth. The gathering of water he called the Seas. God saw that it was beautiful. 11 God said, “The earth will bring forth the tender grass disseminating seed according to its kind and the fruit tree according to its kind whose plant is in it upon the earth.” And it was so. 12 The earth brought forth the tender grass disseminating seed according to its kind and the tree making fruits whose plant was in it according to its kind. God saw it was beautiful. 13 Then there was both evening and morning—Tuesday.

Fourth Day
Genesis 1:14-19
14 God said, “The lights will be in the sky's firmament to set apart the day from night, for signs, times, days, and years, 15 and shining in the sky’s firmament to shine upon the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made the two great lights: the greatest light for the dominion of the day and the small light for the dominion of the night and stars. 17 God gave them to the sky's firmament to shine upon the earth, 18 to rule the day and night, to set apart the light from darkness. God saw it was beautiful. 19 Then there was both evening and morning—Wednesday.

Genesis 1:20-23
20 God said, “The waters will teem swarms, a living soul. May the fowl fly above the earth upon the face of the sky's firmament.” 21 And God created the great crocodiles and every living soul of swarms that waters teemed according to their kind and every winged fowl according to their kind. God saw it was beautiful. 22 And God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and may fowl multiply on earth.” 23 Then there was both evening and morning—Thursday.

Genesis 1:24-26
24 And God said, “The earth will bring forth a living soul according to its kind: the livestock, creepers and earth’s animals according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 Then God made the earth’s animal according to its kind, livestock according to its kind, and every creeper of the earth according to its kinds. God saw it was beautiful. 26 And God said, “We shall make man in our image as our likeness; they will rule the sea’s fish, the sky's birds, livestock, every animal of earth, and all the creepers creeping on the earth.”

Naming of the Beasts
Genesis 2:15-20
15 The Lord God led Adam and left him in the Paradise of Eden to work and keep it. 16 The Lord God commanded Adam and told him, “From all the trees of Paradise you may eat indeed; 17 but of the tree of good and evil knowledge do not eat from it, because on the day you eat of it, you indeed shall die.” 18 The Lord God said, “It is not beautiful Adam is alone; I shall make him a helper like him.” 19 The Lord God formed out of earth each animal of pasture and each bird of heaven. He brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. Adam called all with a living soul, and that was its name. 20 And Adam named all of the livestock, every bird of the sky, every animal of pasture. But for Adam he had found no helper like him.

Creation of Eve
Genesis 2:21-24
21 The Lord God placed calm on Adam, and he slept. He took one of his ribs and fastened flesh in place of it. 22 The Lord God fashioned the rib he took from Adam as a woman and brought her to Adam. 23 Adam said, “This time, bone of my bones, flesh of my flesh. May this one be called Woman because from man she is taken.” 24 Because of this, a husband will forsake his father and his mother and cling unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh. Both Adam and his wife were naked and were not ashamed.

Genesis 1:27-31
27 And God created Adam in his image: in God’s image he created him; male and female, he created them. 28 God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth. Subdue it. Rule the sea’s fish, the sky's birds, the livestock, and each animal creeping on the earth.” 29 God said, “Behold, I gave to all of you the grass whose seed disseminates upon the face of all the earth and every tree which has tree fruit whose seed disseminates. For all of you it will be food; 30 and for each animal of pasture, for each bird of heaven, and for each creeping on the earth with a living soul, each vegetable of grass to eat.” And it was so. 31 God saw what he had made. And behold, it was very beautiful. Then there was both evening and morning—Friday.

Genesis 2:1-3
1 The heavens and the earth were finished with all their might. 2 God finished on the sixth day the deeds he did and rested on the seventh day from all the deeds he did. 3 God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it because on it he rested from all the deeds God created to do.

You have established your glory because of your enemies to abolish the avenging enemy 3 because they saw your sky, the work of your fingers: the moon and stars you have established. 4 What is man that you remembered him and the Son of Man that you visited upon him? 5 You diminished him little more than the angels, and in honor and praise have arrayed him. 6 You authorized him in the work of your hands and have set all beneath his feet: 7 sheep and cattle, all of them, also the animal of the field, 8 the birds of the air, the fish of the sea passing in the paths of the seas. 9 Lord, our Lord, how praised is your name in all the earth.

1 The heavens narrate the glory of God, and the firmament shows the work of his hands. 2 Day to day speech pours out and night to night shows knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor words, so their voice is not heard. 4 In all the earth their message went out and to the ends of the world their words. On the sun he pitched a tent with them, 5 like a bridegroom going out from the bridal chamber. He leaps like a hero to run his way. 6 Its exit is from the end of the sky, its support is upon the ends of the sky, and nothing hides from its heat. 7 The law of the Lord is spotless, converting the soul. The testimony of the Lord is faithful, making children wise. 8 The commands of the Lord are straight, rejoicing the heart. He has chosen the commandment of the Lord, enlightening eyes. 9 The fear of the Lord is pure, standing forever. The judgements of the Lord are in truth and righteous in everything: 10 more desired than gold and jewels, sweeter than honey and honeycomb. 11 Also, may your servant be warned by them. If he keeps them, he shall be requited greatly. 12 But who can understand the lapses? From the hidden, cleanse me. 13 Also, from iniquity withhold your servant so evils do not have dominion over me and I remember my sins. 14 The words of my mouth will be for your will. The meditation of my heart is before you, Lord, my help and my salvation.

6 By the word of the Lord the sky was made and all its forces by the breath of his mouth. 7 They gathered the waters of the sea like pebbles. He put in storehouses the depths. 8 All the earth will fear the Lord. All the inhabitants of the world will tremble before him. 9 Because he has said, and it was; he has commanded and established. 10 The Lord annuls the counsel of the people; the Lord annuls the thoughts of the people. 11 The mind of the Lord is established forever, the thought of his heart to all generations. 12 Happy are the people whose God is the Lord, the people whom he chose as his inheritance. 13 The Lord inspected from heaven and saw all mankind. 14 From his seat, he saw all the inhabitants of the earth: 15 he who molded their heart together and noticed all their deeds.
ו ܒܡܷܠܬܷܗ ܕܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܐܷܬ̣ܥܒܷܕ݂ ܫܡܰܝܳܐ. ܘܰܒ̣ܪܘܼܚܳܐ ܕܦܘܼܡܷܗ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܚܰܝ̈ܠܳܘܳܬܷܗ. ז ܟܢܰܫ̣ܘ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܕܰܒ̣ܙܷܩܷ̈ܐ ܡܰܝ̈ܳܐ ܕܝܰܡܳܐ. ܘܣܳܡ݂ ܒܐܰܘܨܪܷ̈ܐ ܬܗܘܿܡܷ̈ܐ. ח ܢܷܕ݂ܚܠܘܼܢ ܡ̣ܢ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܟܠܳܗ̇ ܐܰܪܥܳܐ. ܘܰܢܙܘܼܥܘܼܢ ܡ̣ܢ ܩܕ݂ܳܡܳܘܗܝ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܳܡܘܿܪܷ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܬܷܒܷܝܠ. ט ܡܷܛܠ ܕܗ̤ܘ ܐܷܡܰܪ ܘܰܗ̤ܘܳܘ ܘܗ̤ܘ ܦܩܰܕ݂ ܘܐܰܩܝܼܡ. אי ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܡܒܰܛܷܠ ܡܷܠܟܳܐ ܕܥܰܡܡܷ̈ܐ. ܘܰܡܒܰܛܷܠ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܡܰܚ̈ܫܒ̣ܳܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ ܕܥܰܡܡܷ̈ܐ. אא ܬܰܪܥܝܼܬܷܗ ܕܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܠܥܳܠܰܡ ܩܰܝܳܡܳܐ. ܘܡܰܚܫܰܒ̣ܬ̣ܳܐ ܕܠܷܒܷܗ ܠܕ݂ܳܪܕܳܪ̈ܝܼܢ. אב ܛܘܼܒ̣ܳܘܗܝ ܠܥܰܡܳܐ ܕܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܗ̱ܘ̣ ܐܰܠܳܗܷܗ. ܥܰܡܳܐ ܕܰܓ̣ܒܳܐ ܠܷܗ ܠܝܳܪܬ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܳܐ. אג ܡ̣ܢ ܫܡܰܝܳܐ ܐܰܕ݂ܝܼܩ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ. ܘܰܚ݂ܙܳܐ ܠܟ̣ܠܗܘܿܢ ܒܢܰܝ̈ܢܳܫܳܐ. אד ܘܡ̣ܢ ܡܰܘܬܒܷܗ ܚܙ݂ܳܐ ܠܟ̣ܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܳܡܘܿܪܷ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܰܪܥܳܐ. אה ܕܰܓ̣ܒܰܠ ܐܰܟ̣ܚ̱ܕ݂ܳܐ ܠܷܒ̇ܗܘܿܢ. ܘܡܷܬ̣ܒܰܝܰܢ ܒܟ̣ܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܒ̣ܳܕܰܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ.
1 Bless the Lord, my soul. Lord my God, you grew well. You are clothed with splendor and excellence. 2 You are wrapped in light like a mantle and stretched the sky like a curtain. 3 He made his stories with water, put his chariot upon the clouds, and walked upon the wings of the wind. 4 He made the wind his messengers and burning fire his ministers. 5 He set the earth on its foundations so it will never be shaken. 6 You have covered the depth like a mantle. The waters stood upon the mountains. 7 From your rebuke they flee. From the sound of your thunder, they are hurried. 8 They went up the mountains and went down to the plains, the place you established for them. 9 You have placed a boundary for them not to pass and cover the earth. 10 You sent forth springs in the valleys. They walk between the mountains, 11 give drink to every animal of the field, and satisfy the thirsty wild asses. 12 The bird of the sky alights on them and among the mountains give voice. 13 He gives drink to the mountains from his stories, and by the fruits of your deeds you satisfy the earth. 14 You sprout fodder for cattle and grass for the service of mankind to bring forth bread from the earth 15 and wine to gladden the human heart, cheering his face with oil, and bread to support the human heart. 16 The trees of the Lord will be satisfied, the cedars of Lebanon he planted. 17 There he established the birds: the stork has nested in the cypresses; 18 the high mountains for the ibexes, and the cliffs are shelter for the rabbits. 19 He made the moon for seasons, and the sun knew the time of its settings. 20 He made the darkness, and it is night when all the animals of the forest cross. 21 The lions roar to break and seek from God their food. 22 At the risings of the sun, they gather and crouch in their dwellings. 23 Man goes out to his work and to his labor until the evening. 24 How many are your works, Lord! You have created them all in wisdom, and the earth filled with your possession. 25 This is the sea, great and wide of breadth, wherein there are countless creepers, the great animals with the slight. 26 In it goes ships and this leviathan you created to play upon it. 27 All of them wait for you to give them food in their time. 28 You give to them, and they are nourished. You open your hand, and they are satisfied. 29 Your face goes, and they are frightened. You take their breath, and they die and return to their dust. 30 You send forth your spirit, and they are created; you renew the face of the earth. 31 The glory of the Lord will be forever. The Lord will rejoice in his deeds: 32 he looks at the earth, and it trembles; he rebukes the mountains, and they smoke. 33 I shall praise the Lord with my life. I shall sing to my God as long as I stand. 34 My thought will be pleasing to him; I will rejoice in the Lord. 35 Sinners will come to an end from the earth, and the iniquitous will not be left in it. 1 Give thanks to the Lord, who is good and whose mercy is forever. 2 Give thanks to the God of gods, whose mercy is forever. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords, whose mercy is forever: 4 to him who made the great wonders by himself, whose mercy is forever; 5 to him who made the sky in his wisdom, whose mercy is forever; 6 to him who pressed the earth upon the waters, whose mercy is forever; 7 to him who made the great lights, whose mercy is forever: 8 the sun for dominion over day, whose mercy is forever; 9 the moon and stars for dominion over night, whose mercy is forever.
